I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your support of the Central Blair Recreation and Park Commission’s Community Classic Dinner and benefit auction on February 26. The commitment you made to donate is greatly appreciated. Your personal commitment to the event will allow the Central Blair Recreation and Park Commission and the Booker T. Washington Revitalization Committee the opportunity to raise several thousands of dollars to go back into our community. The growth of the CBRC Scholarship Fund is now moving forward and the plans for phase two and three of the Booker T. Washington Playground project has begun. The support that you personally have shown to both of these projects is greatly appreciated.
Again, I would like to say thank you for your continued support of youth in our community and the Central Blair Recreation and Park Commission. On behalf of the Altoona Curve Booster Club I want to personally thank you for your participation in the 2011 Booster Club Golf
Outing held at Park Hills. The event was a huge success in part because of the great support from companies like yours.
Over 80 golfers participated in the event in addition to seventeen Curve players, two coaches, trainer and clubhouse staff. Also playing was former Pirate professional ball player Bob Robertson.

I’d like to thank you for allowing us to have a car wash at your Duncansville location. The car wash was a huge success, raising $1185 exceeding our previous record of $850.
It is the generosity of local businesses like yours that provide the opportunity for our kids to gain not only funds, but also some working experience. As with most fund raisers, it is the parents who end up selling or doing most of the work. This experience goes a long way to trying to reinforce some work ethic in these kids.

Thank you for your donation to the Jared Box Project. The Run-4-Jared Race was a huge success thanks to the kindness of people like you!
Proceeds will be used to purchase supplies to make Jared boxes. These boxes will be given to chronically ill children as they receive chemotherapy treatments. Jared Boxes lift the spirits of these children. I can just imagine the wonderful smiles on these very deserving brave patients.

The ad you placed in the Lady Tiger Program is one of the team’s most important fundraisers.
